[01] / Positioning

Why bare metal from The Clouders

Hosting gets sold as a commodity. Infrastructure isn't one — the right server depends on what you run on it.

  • A Single-tenant

    The whole machine is yours

Every server line is physical hardware dedicated to one customer. No shared hypervisor, no neighbours competing for the same CPU, memory or disks.

  • B Specified

    Matched to the workload

Four distinct lines — general-purpose, mission-critical, high-capacity and high-performance — so you choose hardware by what it has to do, not by a price tier.

  • C Direct

    Engineers on the other end

Questions go to people who understand servers. Sales and technical support each have a direct address — no ticket maze to get a straight answer.

[02] / Server lines

Four lines. One standard of hardware.

Each line is built for a different kind of load. Start with the one closest to your workload — our team will help you narrow it down to a configuration.

01 / DEDICATED

Dedicated Servers

Single-tenant bare metal with full root access — the dependable foundation for applications, websites and services you run yourself.

02 / ENTERPRISE

Enterprise Servers

Servers for mission-critical systems, where redundant components and predictable behaviour matter more than anything else.

[03] / Infrastructure

What every server line has in common

Different hardware, same principles. These are the properties you get whichever line you choose — exact components are listed with each configuration.

Hardware isolation

Your workload runs on its own physical machine. Performance and security boundaries are the edges of the server itself, not a software partition.

Storage laid out for the job

Capacity, speed and redundancy pull in different directions. Drive types and RAID layouts are chosen per configuration, so the balance fits what the data is for.

Full control

Root or administrator access to your own operating system. Install, tune and secure the stack the way your team runs it.

Network planned with you

Port speed, bandwidth and IP requirements are part of the configuration conversation — not an afterthought on the invoice.

Room to grow

Scale out with more servers or step up to a heavier line as the workload grows, with the same team that knows your setup.

[04] / Performance

Why bare metal performs predictably

Virtualised hosting adds layers between your code and the hardware, and shares that hardware with others. Bare metal removes both.

  • Consistent CPU

Every core is yours, all the time. No steal time from other tenants' workloads.

  • Whole-machine memory

The full memory capacity and bandwidth of the server, without a hypervisor reserving its share.

  • Direct disk I/O

Drives attached to your machine, not a storage pool shared with unknown neighbours.

  • Your own network interface

Traffic leaves through a network port that isn't carrying anyone else's packets.

[05] / Why The Clouders

Infrastructure without the runaround

  1. 01

    Hardware first

We sell servers, not bundles. Each line exists because a type of workload needs it — and each configuration states exactly what it includes.

  2. 02

    Advice before invoices

Tell us what you're running and we'll recommend a line and configuration. If a lighter machine does the job, that's the one we'll suggest.

  3. 03

    One team, four lines

Moving from a dedicated server to enterprise, storage or advanced hardware doesn't mean starting over with a different provider.

  4. 04

    Reachable people

Sales at sales@theclouders.com. Technical support at support@theclouders.com. Real addresses, read by engineers.

Backup & archive

Off-site backup targets and long-term archives where capacity per server matters most.

FitsStorage

Media libraries

Large collections of video, images and assets that need room to grow and fast retrieval.

[07] / How it works

From workload to running server

  1. STEP 01

    Describe the workload

Email sales@theclouders.com or use the contact form: what you run, how much data, any network needs.

  2. STEP 02

    Get a recommendation

We suggest a server line and configuration, and explain the trade-offs.

  3. STEP 03

    Provisioning

Your server is prepared and access details are handed over to you.

  4. STEP 04

    Run & scale

Technical questions go to support@theclouders.com; growth goes back to step 01.

[08] / FAQ

Common questions

More answers in the full FAQ and the Knowledge Base.

What is a bare-metal (dedicated) server?

A physical server used by a single customer. Its processor, memory, storage and network interface are not shared with anyone else, and you have full administrative control over the operating system.

How do the four server lines differ?

Dedicated Servers are general-purpose bare metal. Enterprise Servers focus on mission-critical reliability. Storage Servers maximise capacity per machine. Advanced Servers are built for high-performance compute.

Which server line should I choose?

Start from the workload: what it runs, how much data it holds, and how critical it is. If you're unsure, email sales@theclouders.com with a short description and we'll recommend a line and configuration.

How do I get pricing and availability?

Configurations, pricing and availability are published on each server line's page as they're released. For anything not listed, or for a quote, contact sales@theclouders.com.

How do I reach technical support?

Existing customers can email support@theclouders.com or use the Client Area. Include your server details so the team can help quickly.

Next step

Tell us the workload. We'll spec the metal.

Share what you need to run — CPU, memory, storage, network — and get a straight recommendation from an engineer.
