04 Advanced Servers
High core counts, large memory footprints and fast NVMe storage — single-tenant hardware for rendering, builds, simulation and data processing that keep every core busy.
[01] / Overview
Advanced Servers are single-tenant, high-performance machines for compute-heavy work: rendering, build pipelines, simulation, analytics and in-memory data processing.
They're specified around the resources these workloads exhaust first — high core counts, large memory footprints and fast NVMe storage — so the hardware keeps up when every core is busy for hours.
As with every Clouders server, there's no hypervisor and no neighbours: the full machine is available to your jobs.
[02] / Key benefits
Parallel workloads scale across many cores — all of them yours.
Keep big datasets, caches and models in memory instead of on disk.
Low-latency, high-throughput drives for scratch space and data-heavy jobs.
Dedicated hardware for jobs that run at full load for hours, not seconds.
Bare metal gives your software direct access to every resource.
Root access to choose kernels, libraries and schedulers for your workload.
[03] / Configurations
Configurations are published here as they become available, each with its full specification and availability.
Every configuration lists
[04] / Workload fit
Most heavy workloads are limited by one resource. Specify around it.
Rendering, compilation, encoding and simulation scale with core count and clock speed.
In-memory databases, analytics and large caches need capacity and memory bandwidth.
Data processing and scratch-heavy jobs benefit most from NVMe throughput.
Distributed jobs and data transfer depend on port speed and bandwidth.
[05] / Running at full load
Advanced workloads run hot and long. The hardware — and the way you run it — should expect that.
No other customer's jobs compete for your cores, memory bandwidth or drives.
Run batch schedulers, CI runners or render managers configured your way.
Datasets and results stay on hardware dedicated to you.
Describe the workload and we'll help pick cores, memory and storage for it.
[06] / Use cases
3D rendering, video transcoding and media processing.
Fast compilation and test pipelines for large codebases.
Scientific and engineering computation that runs for hours.
Data processing, analytics engines and in-memory databases.
Advanced Servers are specified for compute-heavy workloads: higher core counts, larger memory capacity and fast NVMe storage, on single-tenant bare metal.
If your workload regularly keeps CPUs busy, holds large datasets in memory or depends on fast storage, choose Advanced. For general web, application and service hosting, Dedicated Servers are usually the better fit.
Yes. With full root access you can install and configure the schedulers, runners and tools your workflow uses.
Each Advanced configuration lists its CPU, memory, NVMe storage, network and location. Configurations are published here as they're released; contact sales@theclouders.com for current options.
Yes. Send a short description — what runs, how long jobs take, dataset sizes — to sales@theclouders.com and an engineer will recommend a configuration.

Describe the job — runtime, dataset size, bottleneck — and we'll spec an advanced configuration for it.
